About Jessica

Jessica Berger Gross is the author of the acclaimed memoir Estranged: Leaving Family and Finding Home (Scribner), the bestselling Amazon Kindle Single Estranged, and the editor of the anthology About What Was Lost: 20 Writers on Miscarriage (Plume), Healing and Hope. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, New York Magazine’s The Cut, The Globe and Mail, Longreads, and more. She graduated from Vassar College and has an MA in public affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Originally from New York, Jessica lives in Maine with her husband, the sociologist Neil Gross, and their son.
